Most new FBA sellers price using just product cost and sale price, then get surprised by their actual margin once Amazon's cut is subtracted. This calculator adds all three major FBA fee types — referral fee (category-based %), FBA fulfillment fee (size/weight-tier based), and a prorated monthly storage cost — so the profit number you see here is much closer to what actually lands in your payout.

Example: You sell a kitchen gadget for $24.99, it costs you $6.00 to manufacture/source, and it ships in a small standard-size box. Referral fee (Home & Kitchen, 15%) = $3.75. FBA fulfillment fee (small standard tier) ≈ $3.22. Storage (0.05 cubic ft, non-peak) ≈ $0.04/month. Net profit ≈ $24.99 − $6.00 − $3.75 − $3.22 − $0.04 = $11.98, a margin of about 48%.
